Early Childhood Professional Development Workshops for Schools

Healthy, supported educators are at the heart of a thriving school environment. Gold Willow offers Back-to-School workshops as well as ongoing consultation services designed to support teachers and strengthen school teams. Each workshop is thoughtfully tailored to reflect the specific needs of your staff and your school’s identity, creating a supportive space that fosters resilience, clarity and renewed engagement across the school community.
  • In today’s learning environments, educators are increasingly supporting students with attention difficulties, sensory sensitivities, and self-regulation challenges—many of which are influenced by fast-paced, technology-rich lifestyles. This workshop introduces foundational sensory processing concepts and explores how they impact attention, behavior, and emotional regulation in the classroom.

  • Designed for today’s classrooms, this workshop supports educators in understanding behavior through a developmental lens while addressing the growing challenges around attention, regulation, and emotional responses. Teachers are invited to bring forward specific classroom situations, allowing discussions and strategies to be tailored to the real challenges they face. Emphasis is placed on observing behavior objectively—gathering information and identifying patterns—rather than relying on assumptions or judgments.

Through a balance of individual reflection and group collaboration, participants explore their own emotional profiles and reactions, strengthening self-awareness as a foundation for responsive, intentional behavior support.

  • Through a carefully curated blend of reflective and experiential activities, educators are invited to step away from daily pressures and reconnect with themselves and with one another.

    The workshop includes:

    • Guided goal-setting

    • A shared French-inspired meal

    • A mindfulness session

    • Collaborative games

    • Intentional self-care planning tailored to individual profiles.
